About Christ Church Christ Church takes its history seriously. A good look around the building will give you a sense of the long history of Christ Church. The current building was built in 1888 and contains magnificent stained glass and artwork. You can learn more about our church by clicking the Virtual Tour link. We are active members of the Diocese of New York, in the Episcopal Church in America, which is part of the Anglican Communion. We are also aware of our place in the history of the entire church, and seek to be true to our ancestors in the early church.

	We take scripture seriously, as our story as the people of God, and make a point of educating ourselves - adults and children - on spiritual matters. We see our education programs as a part of the "spiritual nurture" we give to each other. Our youth and adult education programs focus on a variety of topics involving scripture, ministry, sacraments, history and spirituality.
